Welcome to last report this year photos from the air show . As usual at the end of the season flying company met at Duxford , this time the motive for the demonstrations was the war in Korea.
In line with the theme of the airport appeared , among others, the oldest flying jet aircraft production or American F- 86A Sabre , light cargo C -45 , a Russian Yak- 18 , Hawker Sea Fury or Cessna L -19. It could also missing regulars led by Sally B. ( last longer flying fortress in Europe ), P -51 Mustang , Spitfire MK14 , Mk9 , a pair of Harvard – s , at the airport there are also nine Tiger Moth s . With the Prime Minister appeared for the first time Gloster Meteor , helicopters proudly represented on the Black Cats Lynx s and Westland Wasp .
This year’s shows were also time to say goodbye – the last time the audience presented the CDT ‘ Mitch ‘ Beulen the Belgian F – 16, which in Duxford ended her three-year adventure and returns to the linear unit . But for the audience it means … a new remote , new maneuvers and new painting.
