Thanks to cooperation with SkyPoland and the 1st Transport Aviation Base as well as General Command of the Polish Armed Forces, we had the unique opportunity to make a few photo flights aboard the EC-135 and Mil Mi-8 helicopters over the center of Warsaw, which is extremely rare, as such permits are issued only as part of special flights.
We made flights onboard the EC-135 in June both during the day and during the “blue hour”, which allowed us to present the very center of Warsaw and skyscrapers from different perspectives at different times of the day.
We made flights on board the Mil Mi-8 helicopter from the 1st Transport Aviation Base during the rehearsals and the main parade on the occasion of the Polish Army Day (August 15), where we photographed Western Warsaw as well as some photos during of military aircraft taking part in the parade. A few pictures were made in the “top-down view” technique, thanks to which we could present the capital of Poland seen centrally from the top.
