Air Show Radom 2015 attracted nearly 200,000 viewers. These two weekend days of August were an opportunity for closer contact with aviation, both for militaries and civilians.
A very big interest was static exhibition and the Israeli C-130J Hercules, which had never before hosted the shows in Poland. Representative of transport aircraft were also C-27 Spartan variant of Romanian, Italian and Lithuanian Air Force, Polish C-130 Hercules and C-295M Casa. Also noteworthy were military biz-jets – Belgian Embraer ERJ135, Norwegian Learjet 35 and fighters – the MiG-29, F-16, Eurofighter Typhoon, Tornado and MiG-21, as well as the Polish helicopters W-3, Mi-8. Under the program for the modernization of Polish helicopters “Crow” was also attended by Turkish T-129 ATAK.
Part of the demonstration in the air was really impressive. The level of soloists and aerobatic teams of Polish and abroad was impressive. At radomian sky presented, among others, Royal Jordanian Falcons, the danish team Baby Blue, Patrulla Aguila and Patrulla Aspa, Baltic Bees Jet Team, Patrouille Suisse, Frecce Tricolori and White-Red Sparks as well as Orlik Team.
There were also soloists – Polish and Slovak MiG-29 Solo Display Team, Romanian “pencil” – MiG-21, as well as foreign fighters like F-16, Rafale and the Eurofighter Typhoon. Also worthy of mention was very spectacular show of CAS (Close Air Support), which raided Polish F-16 along with simulated bombing. During demonstrations there was also presented block of aeroclub, which was attended by, among others, AT-3 aircraft, the Tiger Moth, the Extra 300 or gliders.
By choosing these airshow we knew it would be an event pushed to the edge, and that the organizers will make all efforts to ensure this event will be in the memory of viewers for a long time – and actually make it happen. A multitude of attractions both in the air and on the ground guaranteed an unforgettable spectacle.
Thanks to the cooperation with the General Command of Armed Forces our portal performed official photos from the event, as well as unique and unprecedented pictures from Radom Airshow, which are, among others, shots in the air or night shots.
