NATO’s largest exercise for many years is taking place in the first half of 2024 across Europe. One of the accompanying exercises is Nordic Response 24, which takes place across Norway, Finland and Sweden, preparing aircrews and soldiers on the ground to operate in winter conditions. Working with the US Marine Corps, we had the opportunity to visit Andoya Air Station in the Arctic Circle in Norway and get a closer look at F/A-18 and KC-130J operations.
