100 professionally trained police pilots , 15 aircraft and full readiness to fly for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week , in all weather conditions – this is the shortest characteristic aviation police. Most machines are stationed at the airport Warsaw Babice , where we went in early May for the implementation of photojournalism .
Equipped with the Police Headquarters are located helicopters Mil Mi -8 , W-3 “Sokol “, Bell -206 , and soon the service will also enter the machine Bell – 412HP ( after passing the appropriate implementation procedures and formalities machine will mainly patrolled areas over Warsaw and the surrounding area ) . The main tasks of Aviation KGP are patrolling the areas of Warsaw and surrounding areas, support patrols and police intervention , as well as training and exercises , along with the different services .
Being at the airport Babice ( EPBC ) had the opportunity to accompany the officers of the Division for Implementation of KSP helicopter Mil Mi – 8 during the amphibious exercises , the way that we made a few shots in the air and helicopter deck .
