On 27th August 2015 at Bemowo airport in Warsaw was presented a multi-purpose helicopter T-129 ATAK from Turkish Aerospace Industries.
After a brief show of static machine, began the press conference, which showed details of the helicopter, followed by a dynamic show, during which the rotorcraft presented its capabilities in flight.
The maximum takeoff weight of T-129 is 5000 kg and the weight of an empty machine – 2900 kg. It is armed with a 20-mm cannon drive M197. In addition, on 4 underwing nodes can be suspended armament with a mass of 1200 kg. It is worth mentioning that it is also equipped with modern systems supporting pilots such as overhelmet modern guidance system or a fully autonomous autopilot.
